2007 Bell Game Rally

Yesterday was the day of our annually bell game rally and bell game between Lincoln High and Washington High. The rally took place in the South Gym. Like every year we separated into Rally A and Rally B because of the South Gym can't fit in 2500 students. I was in Rally A. The third period teacher had to help out setting up the place, and thus the whole band class reported to the South Gym. I sat on a bench and surround by many red and "gold" balloons. You know what, I had been waiting for this day for three years. The red+gold balloons are only for seniors.

At the end of 3rd period, thousand of students crowed in and filled all the benches. The school first introduced i several alumni who invited to come as judges for the rally. Then the drill team performed. And the several teachers performed a short skit to show the honor and spirit of Lincoln H.S. The most interesting part was that the driver ed. teacher Mr.Merillian dressed up with a white wig and a black short shirt. Everyone said he has hot legs. Mr. Merillian participate in the skit for the rally every year. However, this year's skit was not as great as last year's. After cheerleaders' performance, the American football coach started to introduce the football players and the cheerleaders gave out flowers to each one of them. Then the real rally contest began. The juniors went first, the sophomores went second, the freshmen went third, and us the seniors went last. The freshmen didn't do so good. I couldn't hear what the sophomores were yelling/saying/singing. The junior did pretty good. But I still think that us were the best!

After that was the Lincoln song contest.

And then the whole school sang the school sang together. I liked the Lincoln hym very much since the first time I heard it in the freshmen orientation. I loved its melody. Though the seniors lost to the juniors in the spirit week, I believe that we'll win the rally. We'll see when the result in next week.

It has been a month since the the last time I updated my blog. It's because I don't know what to write/say and I'm getting lazy.

On these two days you can see several combat planes flying across the blue sky with white track leave behind. At night you can enjoy the colorful firework. And these are all because of the Columbus Day.

Yesterday I recevied an email from an old friend in China. We haven't talk to each other like five years. yeah, five year is a long period time. I was so glad to hear from her again.
